What is Rebuilding?
In 2017, nature and man brought destruction to places and people on scales previously unimagined. Yet, in the rubble of catastrophe, we discover stories of how communities and families work together, or how individuals create purpose out of their circumstance.
Art has the power to capture the struggle and celebration of this rebuilding process and challenge us all to make something beautiful out of our own tragedies.
Addressing this theme of rebuilding – whether community, physical, emotional, or spiritual – Makervillage is pleased to announced that we are accepting entries for our first curated exhibit to be on display January 2018.

I am so sorry that I am just now seeing this as I would have loved to submit art for this exhibit! The theme is wonderful, and it will be a great show I am sure!!
Please consider sharing information about any future exhibit announcements with the Rome Art Coterie. I may have missed an announcement about this exhibit, but I just don’t recall receiving anything.
I will be happy to forward information to the President, Clare Gilliland, for forwarding to the Coterie members, or you can email her directly. claregilliland@aol.com
